Sustainable Living: Homemade Sauerkraut Workshop

Join us for a journey of the senses and rediscover the amazing benefits of sauerkraut. This delicious ferment has anti-inflammatory properties and will increase longevity for you and your family. Learn how to use seasonally available produce to boost the nutritional value of your vegetables. Nurture your future and remember your past.

Gillian Kozicki is a fermenting expert and will guide you through the process, showing you how to incorporate sauerkraut into your everyday lifestyle. You will explore the benefits and practicalities of making sauerkraut at home.

In this workshop you will make a make basic sauerkraut, depending on seasonal availability and add your personal preference of spices. You will take home a jar of the ferment you have made, along with instructions and recipes.

What to bring: Please bring a knife and chopping board with you.
